Children

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Our vision for the children’s ministry at First Baptist Church is to build up the body of Christ in love through Biblically sound teaching, relational discipleship, and parent partnership. We are passionate that children aren’t the just church of tomorrow but that they are an important part of the church today!

Below are the ministries we currently have to engage children and point them to God’s Word. We not only have year round and seasonal ministries, but we also have varied events throughout the year like VBS. There is also a parent’s group on the Remind app, link below, to allow parents to connect, provide support and encouragement, keep up to date with upcoming events, and reach out for help as needed. We firmly believe that our ministry is not just to the children but to equip parents with resources and the support needed to spiritually nourish a child so they can stand strong in their faith against today’s increasingly secular world.
